It’s not the end, it’s just a beginning for Batch 2008-2012
A Fond Farewell at BCIHMCT to the batch of 2008 - 2012

Some student representatives spoke on behalf of their peers, about their journey at the college and thanked the faculty members for their continuous support and bestowed parting souvenirs. Mementoes were presented by the college to the entire class of 2008-2012 followed by their group photographs. A high tea was organized amidst this tearful gathering. Photographs were clicked and promises to stay in touch were made by students who were barely able to hide their emotions of leaving the college life behind.

On 23rd September 2011 a well thought step of training was taken up in the college in the field of Hotel Housekeeping. The students of III year took a bold step by leaving behind the books and moving into the practical world of Hotel Housekeeping. An exhibition took place in the College Conference Hall that exhibited the professional caliber and positive approach combining the Theory Inputs with Practical Housekeeping Operations.
Mr. Bhupesh Kumar, HOD and Ms Shubhangi Garg, the faculty for housekeeping for III year decided to move with the present scenario and directed the students to think and work more practically. A total of 15 teams comprised of 100 students were assigned various Project Works supplementing their syllabus. The interest of the students was clearly visible in the kiosks that they had put up. It included various hard floorings to carpets to lighting and of course professionally arranged rooms design and decor that exhibited the student’s skill in the field.
The interiors were well laid out with samples of furniture and wall coverings and draperies in a well knit color scheme.
The students were given a specific time period of about 6 weeks in which they made
visits to various suppliers and manufacturers of various products in Delhi and NCR. The
real caliber of the students was fully exploited. The various qualities needed in our sector i.e. integrated team work, leadership, exploiting available resources, time management etc. were all clearly visible in their work.
The best thing that was clearly visible throughout this whole period was that, that the
students not only achieved their assigned targets but were also available in the college for their other day to day activities thus not disturbing the regular working schedule. The
visitors were very much impressed by seeing the amount of effort and hard work put in
by the teams.
